November 11, 2010

C&F Partner Ross Hirsch achieved a rare verdict in a bicycle hit-and-run case in which he represented an injured cyclist/victim, Ed Magos. The driver was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and has been ordered to pay nearly $20,000 to cover Magos’ medical bills and lost wages. The verdict has been celebrated by the city’s cycling community, as jail time is rare for bicycle hit-and-runs. Read more about the victory in a Los Angeles Times article here.
